Why a watch
A gift that keeps saying the same thing.
Most corporate gifts are consumed and forgotten inside a month. A mechanical watch is wound by the movement of the wrist, worn daily, and kept for decades — and it happens to be made of the exact material Datum sells.
Nothing about the piece shouts. The Datum mark sits at six o'clock and on the caseback, and the rest of the watch is left alone. It is a tool, not a promotional item, which is precisely why it gets worn.
The mark
Engraved, not printed.
The caseback is laser-engraved into the brushed steel — no stickers, no lacquer, nothing that wears off. Company name, founding year, and, where a run is dedicated to a single client or anniversary, an individual number or name.
